TrueDownloader is a free software download manager and accelerator with features like pause/resume downloads, simultaneous downloads and segmented downloads for acceleration. Both HTTP and FTP protocols are supported. Some special features like HTTP/FTP proxy support and ZIP previewing are supported too. The program is written in Visual Basic.
- Integrated into Internet Explorer, Mozilla Application Suite and Mozilla Firefox with extensions.
- Compatible with Windows 95, 98, ME, 2000, XP.
- This program is under the GPL.
This program was originally called DownloadPlus but was renamed because of a trojan horse called DownloadPlus.
TrueDownloader hasn't has had further development since February 20 2005.
